Knowbly was a cloud-based courseware authoring application that enabled users to create interactive, responsive training content without having to write code. Authors could publish content built in Knowbly in multiple formats including SCORM and standard HTML5 web packages, and send it to any LMS or serve it directly on the web. Key features included a course creator, an interactive widget creator, and a theme creator.
My role in it. UI design.
A bit about the visuals. Knowbly’s UI needed to make a complex, feature rich product easy to understand and simple to navigate for authors creating content across a diverse playing field including K-12, higher ed, and corporate training. I used a bright color palette paired with highly legible fonts and iconography to create visual hierarchy to guide users through the flows.
